Artist's Comments
Another piece I did while in Italy. It was this old abandoned entrance on the side the road leading into some expansive property. I found it while wandering one day and deemed it worth a return visit.
Rendering this piece was especially difficult in the sense that in order to get to it I had to scale an absolutely huge flight of stairs. Well, I made it up sure enough and walked up to that very spot only to realize I had managed to forget my paints. Needless to say I made the journey again that very same day, all for the sake of some random gate! ink and dyes on paper |
